After finishing with a 28-4 record and an outright Atlantic Coast Conference regular season championship, Louisville women’s basketball concludes the season ranked No. 6 overall in the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls.

Louisville has remained in the AP and USA Today Coaches Top 10 for 59 straight polls, which is a program record.

The Cardinals reached as high as No. 2 in both polls following their 72-62 win over No. 1 Oregon on Nov. 30 to claim the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam Island Division.

With the 68-48 win over Boston College, Louisville claimed a third straight ACC regular season title and its first ever outright ACC title. Prior to this stretch, Louisville had never won consecutive regular season conference titles.

It also marked UofL’s first outright regular season conference title since they won the Conference USA regular season championship in 2000-01. It marked their eighth conference title in program history.

With the 70-53 win over Virginia Tech on Senior Day, Bionca Dunham, Jazmine Jones, Jessica Laemmle and Kylee Shook became the third straight senior class to conclude their career as the most accomplished class in program history. They finish with a 125-19 record, which eclipses the 123 wins from last year’s class.

They also set the program record for winning percentage (.868) and fewest losses.
