The Thomas More University men’s golf team is tied for eighth place after the first day of the Skyhawk Invitational as it shot a 36-hole total of 632 (320-312) at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia.


  • Senior Kyle Alexander (Taylorsville, Ky./Spencer County) is in 12th with a 151 (75-76).
  • Senior Jacob Zai (Cold Spring, Ky./Bishop Brossart) is tied for 43rd with a 159 (79-80).
  • Sophomore Sebastian Sims (Maineville, Ohio/Little Miami) is tied for 47th with a 160 (85-75).
  • Senior Zack Baynum (California, Ky./Campbell County) carded a 164 (81-83) and is tied for 60th.
  • First-year Jerod Baynum (California, Ky./Bishop Brossart) is tied for 70th with a 167 (86-81).


  • Thomas More had five Saints competing as individuals.
  • First-year Ben Bryll (Cincinnati, Ohio/McNicholas) is tied for 64th with a 165 (83-82).
  • Junior Bryce Kremer (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) is tied for 64th with a 165 (82-82).
  • Junior Robby Case IV (Crestview Hills, Ky./Covington Catholic) shot a 170 (83-87) and tied for 78th.
  • Senior Blake Baioni (Cold Spring, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) is in 104th place with a 196 (103-93).
  • Sophomore Tyler Sansom (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) is in 106th place with a 205 (111-94).


  • The Saints will close out the Skyhawk Invitational tomorrow with the final round at Callaway Gardens.
